Hack That!

Imagine it’s a Friday afternoon in the midst of one of your biggest sales, and you start getting calls that your website has been hacked. Your site is now sending people away from your website and to …well…less than appealing sites. You are losing eyes, potential sales, and possibly clients. Google has even stopped running your digital ads because of it. You’ve got to do something fast!

When our client apprised us of the situation, that’s exactly what we did. We quite literally dropped everything and acted quickly to remove any malicious links and other malware that had been deeply embedded into the code of our client’s site. This malware was so intentionally hidden that any returning users couldn’t see the content, only new users, which made it very difficult to find, identify, and confirm removal. However, within 24 hours the website was clean and secure, and Google had even resumed running ads. Hack that, hackers!
